We have staff 而且 resources focused entirely on helping you succeed at Mt. 罩. The programs provide a variety of supports--including those listed above--for marginalized communities, 包括BIPOC, LGBTQA这样+, first-generation 而且 low-income 学生.

Eligibility varies depending on the program, but some characteristics of our 学生 include:

• First generation: first in their family to attend college
• Receiving or 是 eligible for SNAP Food Stamp benefits, 形成, TANF, 每各月, SSI, 名称, 失业, 佩尔, Oregon Opportunity grant
• 低的收入
• Identify as a member of an underrepresented community (communities of color, 移民, 难民, living with a disability, 等.)

Dedicated staff 而且 resources to help you succeed at Mt. 罩. As a student in a success program, you will receive:

• Direct financial support services to help with college costs: class tuition 而且 fees (typically the first 1 – 2 two terms at MHCC), textbooks/packets, 工具/供应, 运输, emergency utility 而且/or living expenses 等.
  Type 而且 amount of direct financial support services depends on grant eligibility 而且 funding availability.
• One-on-one support from a 学生 Success Specialist
• Help navigating the challenges of college life
• 职业生涯 exploration 而且 job search assistance
• Connections to on- 而且 off-campus resources 而且 services
• Support to help you complete your GED/ESL/IECC/ABS classes 而且 transition to credit classes at MHCC
